Walt Disney Concert Hall

Robinson Families are invited to share in the experience of Walt Disney Concert Hall's family friendly concerts that make symphonic music come alive for children.   The Toyota Symphonies for Youth series features a set of 4 concerts created especially for children age five to eleven and their families. These multi-disciplinary concerts showcase the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and introduce the world of classical music to children through imaginative and original storytelling in a theatrical setting. Each TSFY concert is a dramatic presentation, conducted by a Dudamel Conducting Fellow and staged by theater artists.

Before every concert, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Walt Disney Concert Hall becomes a musical playground with hands-on art making, musical activities, dance, and storytelling or theater.  Workshops take place in the lobby spaces one hour prior to the performance.

Come for: The chance to experience a live orchestra through the fantasy of theater, in some of the most exciting music ever written.

And more: Each performance is preceded by a choice of art workshops, including an instrument petting zoo, dance, and more starting at 10am.

This year, the Toyota Symphonies for Youth discovers beautiful music inspired by the Paris, the City of Light, as well as exploring the world of the cello and classic music by Beethoven & Benjamin Brittain.

There are four concert dates available for ticket purchase at a discount to the original ticket price (click the links below for further details on each concert).  Tickets are $15 each.  20 Tickets are available for each concert.  Please make checks payable to: Robinson PTSA.  Payment is due at office upon sign-up.  If you have any questions, please contact Andrea Hynes.
