Please avoid outfits that are scary, suggestive or in poor taste. No weapons of any kind are allowed. Let's have fun, but remember it is a school event, so let's keep the attire appropriate.

Walt DIsney Concert - 10th Anniversary Celebration: Building Music

Saturday, November 2, 2013 - 11:00am to 12:30pm

10th Anniversary Celebration: Building Music.  The first TSFY concert of the season explores the connection between music and architecture through Esa-Pekka Salonen’s Wing on Wing, which was inspired by Walt Disney Concert Hall and premiered as part of the Building Music festival that closed the inaugural season here.

Robinson Families are invited to share in the experience of Walt Disney Hall's family friendly concerts that make symphonic music come alive for children.  This year, the Toyota Symphonies for Youth explores enthralling music by Salonen, Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky, and Minimalist masters.

There are four concert dates available for ticket purchase at more than half the original ticket price.  Tickets are $10 each.  20 Tickets are available for each concert.  Please make checks payable to: Robinson PTSA.  Payment is due at office upon sign-up.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx.  TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.  Our event is called TEDxManhattanBeach, where x = independently organized TED event.  At our TEDxManhattanBeach event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

What is TEDxManhattanBeach?

Innovators, thinkers, and doers from the greater Manhattan Beach area of California dedicated to making our community a better place to live through an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization.
