Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age

Monday, September 18, 2017 -
6:00pm to 8:00pm

Please join parents, educators, and community members on Monday, September 18th from 6 - 8pm at MBMS (multi-purpose room) as we show Screenagers, a feature documentary that addresses one of the most pervasive parenting issues of our time and depicts teen struggles with social media, video games, and internet addition.  The film also empowers kids to better navigate the digital world, while providing resources to help them along the way.

After the screening, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and hear practical solutions from an expert panel.  This event is free to attend and it is open to all MBUSD families.

**As follow up, on September 27th at 6:00 p.m., MBEF will host Dr. Yalda T. Uhls, UCLA Researcher, Author, and Common Sense Media Youth Developmental Expert, to discuss Plugged-In Parents: Keeping Kids Safe, Happy, and Healthy in the Digital Age in the MBMS multi-purpose room.  We encourage families to attend this session as a compliment to Screenagers that gives practical support and solutions for parenting in the digital age.  Please sign up here.
