Early Release Wednesday
Each Wednesday students are released early so that teachers may collaborate with one another. School ends at 1:30 for grades 1-5 and for PM Kinders.
Early / Late Tide
Currently we have early and late reading in grade 1. This time is used for small group instruction which provides for the individual and differentiated needs of children. Assignments are determined by instructors and based on student needs.
Early Tide Days
All Grade 1 students are on the early-tide schedule, regardless of their early/late tide assignment, for the following special days:
• First two weeks of school
• Last four days of school
• Special days as they are announced
Minimum Days
Minimum days are shortened days to allow for special events.
Computer Lab
The computer lab is open Monday through Thursday. Every class from kindergarten through 5th grade comes to the lab every week.
Instrumental Music – (Amy Johnson & Amy Cavallaro)
1st & 2nd grade – Wednesdays
3rd & 4th grade – Tuesdays
5th grade – Tuesdays and every other Wednesday
Library
Monday through Thursday: 8am to 3pm
Friday: 9:30am to 1:30pm
All classes visit the library once a week. Please note that the library is NOT open during Late Tide time if there is a class in session in the library.
Parents may also check out library materials to read with their children at home. Printer cartridges and batteries are collected in the library for recycling, with proceeds donated to the PTSA.
